R.I.P. Joe Dever

This time I have some sad news. Joe Dever died on November 29th.
Many of you will know him for the Lone Wolf series of gamebooks. In fact the gamebooks were my start into fantasy roleplaying. Later I started with Games Workshop Fantasy Battles and WRG 6th edition (yes I did play it) and D.B.A.
But it was his gamebooks which started it all.

A lot more crisis

Well as promised some more pictures of the Crisis show in Antwerp

Me left and Frank right waiting to get a park ticket.
Finally there. There was just one place to buy the parking ticket.
Frank (left), Hans Jürgen aka Sturmi (middle) and Marcel (right) checking the goodies bag.

Do you remember these houses?? Yeppa I played with such model cowboys when I was a toddler on my parents living room floor.

 A lucky find a the bring an buy. A box 5 Euro....bargain....!!!
The parthians were especially a must buy because I need them to finish my Parthian DBA Army.
Plastic Soldier Company offerd a buy 4 get 5 offer....well I always fall for that damned offer.
Something for the reading table. Not that much as last year but nice books. The one about the Swiss in Napoleons armies I have read during the last days. Highly recommended...o.k. buy it.
 Simply an impulse buy...Over 200 packs of 1/3000 scale warships....for 20€.
At the moment I am busy searching my book shelf for the rules.
That was inside the yellow bag. A frame of 28mm Warlord Games Romans, a lead 28mm model of a medieval queen and a turn maker....Great....!!
